Insulation Services

insulationUpgrading your attic insulation is one of the most important things to look for to upgrade the energy efficiency of your home. In fact, heat or air conditioning escaping through the attic may be responsible for up to one half of your home's entire loss. Proper insulation levels will keep your home more comfortable as well as help soundproof and weatherize your house for optimum living quality.

Duct Testing & Repair

Adobe Energy Management Co. recommends sealing your heating and cooling unit, duct leaks, duct connections, plenums and registers to increase air flow pressure, air quality and your homes comfort level. If you have black streaks trailing the ceiling near your registers this is an indication that you have duct leak issues that need attention. If you're planning on adding attic insulation in the near future, we recommend sealing duct leak issues as well so you do not disturb the insulation after it has been added.

BPIAdobe Energy Management Co. is proud to be a Certified Professional, having met national standards set by the Building Perfomance Institute, Inc. Solar Sunscreens

solar screen imageSolar window screens primary purpose is reducing heat gain in the summer and reducing interior heat loss in the winter. Solar Screens cool the home by reflecting, absorbing, and disbursing large amounts of solar heat and glare before they have a chance to reach and penetrate the glass in your windows and doors; it can reduce the temperature of the room in the daylight from 10 to 15 degrees. While installing a more efficient air conditioner or ceiling fans can help reduce the cost of temperature adjustment, installing a sun screen is the best thing you can do to stop the heat from entering your home in the first place.
